So by blowing up the pipeline the U.S. can now ship NPG to German at 7 times the cost of the Russian gas and low the EU's growth by a lot. It all had a negative effect on Russian income. And this move is now showing the deep negative economic effects that is beginning to strangle the EU. Why the U.S. is even worried about Russia's GDPis confusing because its GDP is under the size of the State of New York and a little larger than the State of Florida. So the EU aspect seems to be the real reason for the sabotage.
